Job Description

A nationally recognized law firm is hiring a Complex Litigation Defense Paralegal to support active matters, including work involving property-related disputes and other specialized litigation requiring disciplined discovery work and trial support. You'll handle core litigation tasks from intake through appeal-document management, filings, discovery support, exhibit prep, and trial assistance. If you're the person who keeps cases organized, deadlines tracked, review tools under control, and trial teams prepared, this role will feel familiar.

  • Schedule: Hybrid (2+ days in office per week) | Parking: covered
  • Compensation: $85,000 -105,000 + full benefits package

What You'll Do

  • Manage filings, document preparation, and post-trial work across state and federal courts, including extensive use of review platforms.
  • Handle discovery tasks, property research, document review, and matter-specific tracking using tools such as Relativity.
  • Prepare exhibits, witness materials, trial binders, and support attorneys during hearings and trials.
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, vendors, and internal teams to maintain accurate case status, deadlines, and workflow.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5 years of Litigation Defense Paralegal experience, including work within an Eminent Domain practice group
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience + Paralegal certificate
  • Experience preparing and filing pleadings in state and federal courts
  • Discovery experience, including document review using Relativity or similar tools
  • Experience with exhibit preparation, trial support, and in-court assistance
  • Proficiency with document management systems and structured electronic files
  • Ability to work overtime and travel for trial when required
